​Two men set out on a desperate journey to Santiago de Compostela. One is a humanist doctor from the 16th century. The other is a current opera singer. Both are pilgrims without hope, without will and without faith. But along the way, along a journey punctuated by memories, sadness and laughter, they both reveal themselves and redeem themselves.
